Description

Elderberries (Sambucus nigra) are one of the most well-known immune tonics in Western herbal medicine, traditionally used for centuries to ward off colds and flu and support the body's natural defences. These certified organic elderberries are grown locally on Yaegl Country in the Northern Rivers region by Solum Botanics, as part of the Nimbin Apothecary Herbal Growers Collective.

Elderberries are rich in anthocyanins and flavonoids, potent antioxidants that give the berries their deep purple colour and contribute to their immune-supporting properties. Research has shown that elderberry preparations can reduce the duration and severity of cold and flu symptoms when taken at the onset of illness.

Selected by our qualified herbalists. Available in 50g and 100g bags.
