Calendula Balm Australia | Farm-Grown & Handmade

This is not your regular calendula balm. The calendula in this jar was grown in our Apothecary garden, harvested and dried carefully to retain the plant's full potency and colour. The beeswax is sourced from a local beekeeper. Home grown, home made herbal goodness at its best.

That is why, unlike most calendula balms on the market, ours is a rich golden colour, indicating the strength and vitality of the plant material. When you see pale, washed-out calendula products, it usually means the flowers were old, over-processed or commercially mass-dried. Ours are vibrant because they go from garden to balm with our qualified herbalists overseeing every step.

• Dry, cracked or rough skin on hands, feet, elbows and lips
• Minor cuts, grazes and abrasions
• Nappy rash and cradle cap on babies
• Chapped or weather-damaged skin
• Soothing irritated or inflamed skin
• General skin nourishment and protection

How to Use

Apply a small amount to clean skin and massage gently into the affected area. Use as often as needed. The thick balm consistency creates a protective barrier that locks in moisture and delivers the calendula's active compounds directly where they are needed.

Suitable for use on babies and children. Calendula is one of the gentlest skin herbs available. If you have a known allergy to plants in the Asteraceae family (daisies, chamomile, ragweed), do a patch test first.

What is the difference between calendula balm and calendula oil? The balm is thicker and more concentrated, best for targeted healing on specific areas like cracks, grazes and rough patches. Why is this balm golden and others are pale? The golden colour comes from using freshly harvested, carefully dried calendula flowers at full potency. Mass-produced calendula products often use old or over-processed flowers, resulting in a pale, weak product.

Is calendula good for eczema? Calendula is widely used as a soothing topical treatment for eczema. Its anti-inflammatory and emollient properties help calm irritation and protect the skin barrier. It is not a cure but can provide significant relief.
