Winter has a habit of making our skin feel a little dry, dull and lack-lustre
So we decided to brew up a very, very special formula to keep skin supple, healthy and summer-time glow-y.
Presenting our Butterfly Pea & Tulsi Face Toner AND our Glow Face Oil…..ta da!
This was a true joy to make, kitchen withcery and folk medicine at its finest!
We extracted Butterfly Pea’s skin-loving antioxidants into organic witch hazel, which provides tone, tightens pores, and reduces redness and irritation.
THEN we combined it with Tulsi hydrosol (locally made by our Herbal Growers collective). Tulsi contains camphene which naturally removes excess oil from the skin, making at super effective for those with acne. It also neutralises free radicals in the skin, rejuvenating it and giving it that extra glow.
We like to use this toner AFTER we cleanse, but BEFORE we use our Glow Face Oil….
Made on site in the apothecary (like everything in our shop!), Glow Face Oil is a base of local macadamia and rosehip oil, which are full of vitamin C & E - protecting and hydrating the skin, as well as assisting with cell regeneration.
We carefully selected essential oils of neroil, palmarosa, lime, grapefruit and rose for an oil that not only smells divine, but has anti inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
